i. JTAG-in-a-chain functionality now implemented
This EQTools version now supports programming of any Atmel ATmega AVR device via JTAG when the device is part of a JTAG chain. It is possible to declare the position of the AVR Device in the JTAG chain by specifying the number of ‘Bits before’ and ‘Bits after’ the target device in the chain.
A new version of programmer firmware supporting ‘JTAG-in-a-chain’ is available from Equinox as a beta test version. Please email support@equinox-tech.com to request a copy of this firmware.
ii. Fuse / Security Fuse Hex values are now displayed
This EQTools version now displays the Hex values of both the Fuse and Security Fuses in Project Builder and EDS. This allows projects created using the Atmel ‘AVR Studio’ software to be easily converted / compared to Equinox EQTools projects.
