This is a 'Firmware Upgrade Project' for the Equinox 'ISPjuno MK2' programmer.

Upgrade to firmware version: 6.52
Release date: 13th August 2025

Overview:

This firmware upgrade combines support for Atmel 'AVR microcontrollers' with Atmel 'AT89Sxxxx 8051 microcontrollers' in one firmware release. The actual device support of the programmer is governed by which 'Device libraries' have been licensed in the 'Programmer Info'.

IC Device programming algorithms supported in this version:

• Microchip (Atmel) - AVR microcontrollers - SPI interface
• Microchip (Atmel) - AVR microcontrollers - JTAG interface
• Microchip (Atmel) - XMEGA AVR microcontrollers - PDI interface
• Microchip (Atmel) - ATtiny AVR microcontrollers - TPI interface (Low voltage & High voltage)
• Microchip (Atmel) - AT89Sxxxxx 8051 microcontrollers - SPI interface
• 24Cxxx - Series I2C EEPROM Memory devices

Firmware installation instructions:

• Unzip the attached *.PPC file
• Use EQTools or Upload Wizard to upload the 'Firmware upgrade PPC file' to the programmer.
• The programmer will then automatically re-flash its firmware to the new firmware version.
