The 210849 is a high-quality clam-shell type Programming Adaptor suitable for converting a device in an 8,12,14 or 16 pin SOIC/SOP (150 mil) package to a 16-pin DIL pin-out suitable for inserting into a Device Programmer. The adaptor wiring is 1:1 from the SOIC device to the DIL pin-out.

Top adaptor: 16-pin SOIC/SOP high-quality clam-shell type socket
Bottom pin-out: 16 pin Dual-in-Line (DIL).
Bottom pin spacing: 15 mm (suitable for inserting into programmer ZIF socket)
Adaptor wiring: 1:1 from the SOIC device to the DIL pin-out
Device support: eg. 8-pin Serial EEPROM's
Programmers supported: Any programmer with a suitable DIL ZIF socket
