This CE compliant starter system provides a comprehensive suite of development tools for the Atmel 8051 microcontroller family. The system hardware comprises of a combined parallel and serial device programmer, feature-packed evaluation module, In-System Programming (ISP) cable and mains power supply. Also included is a powerful Keil Integrated Development Environment (IDE) featuring an editor, Macro assembler, C compiler, linker, software simulator and HEX creator. Sample programs are supplied to help the developer to quickly become familiar with the 8051 microcontroller family and C. It is possible to download code from the IDE straight to the sample AT89S8252 microcontroller fitted in the evaluation module without removing the device from the socket. |
