The Conitec 210847 Programming Adaptor converts a device in 44-pin QFP into a DIL-40 pin-out suitable for plugging into the ZIF socket of a Device Programmer.  It supports many generic 8051 microcontrollers including 87/89xxx, C505 and also some PIC microcontrollers. The adaptor supports 4 different pin-outs by simply plugging the top adaptor PCB into any 1 of 4 selectable positions. 

Top socket: 44-pin QFP (does NOT accept TQFP package)
Socket type: Clam-shell (hinged lid)
Bottom pin-out: 40-pin DIL
Pin wiring: 1-to-1 (maps the TQFP pin-out to the same device in DIL
Device support: Atmel AT89C51/52/8253, AT87C51/52, Siemens C505, selected PICs.
Programmers supported: Most programmers with 40-pin ZIF socket

Please consider using the Conitec 210847A Programming Adaptor intead of this adaptor. The 210847A will accept both QFP and TQFP packages.
