How do I check my programmer Firmware Version ? (EQTools Software) |
|

To check the current version of any programmer which uses the EQTools software, please follow the steps below:
- Connect the programmer to a spare PC COM port
- Apply power to the programmer
- Launch EQTools
- Select
--> EQTools displays all the settings for the attached programmer.
- Check the 'Firmware Version' in this list with the latest version listed for Configit.

How do I check my programmer Firmware Version ? (Meridian Software) |
|
|
To check the current version of any programmer which uses the Meridian software, please follow the steps below:
- Connect the programmer to a spare PC COM port
- Apply power to the programmer
- Launch Meridian
- Select [Options][Programmer Info]
--> Meridian displays all the settings for the attached programmer.
- Check the 'Firmware Version' in this list with the latest version listed for Configit.

If your programmer firmware is < 3.00? |
|
- If your programmer firmware is < 3.00, then you will need to use the Configit utility to upgrade your firmware.
|
|
If your programmer firmware is >=3.00? |
|
- If your programmer firmware is already 3.00 or above, then your programmer has a Boot Loader installed.

To upgrade your firmware, simply upload a Firmware Upgrade Project to the programmer using EQTools.

The Firmware Upgrade Projects can be found in the \program files\equinox\firmware directory of EQTools.
