A 'Parallel Mode' programmer is one where the Target Device requires most if not all of the pins of the device during the programming process. This requires that the Target Device is placed in the Programming Socket (usually called a Zero Insertion Force or ZIF Socket) for programming. Equinox stock a wide range of 'Parallel Programmers' including development, production and gang programmers. Some Starter Systems and Evaluation Boards also have 'Parallel Programming' capabilities and are therefore listed for completeness.
